Maite Perroni is a Mexican actress, singer, songwriter and model. She is best known for her roles in the Mexican telenovelas Rebelde (2004–06), Cuidado con el Ángel (2008–09), Mi Pecado (2009), Triunfo del Amor (2010) and La Gata (2014).
Perroni has had a successful career in music, having released two solo albums – Eclipse de Luna in 2013 and Otro Dia Mas Sin Verte in 2017 – as well as contributing music to various soundtracks of telenovelas she starred in. She has achieved more than 10 Top 10 singles on the Latin Pop Songs chart and won two Latin Grammy Awards for “Me Voy”, one of her most renowned songs. In 2009, Perroni was named “the new queen of the telenovelas” by Univision.
Outside of acting, singing and songwriting, Maite Perroni is also an accomplished model who has posed for magazines such as Women’s Health México, Maxim Mexico and Quien Magazine. Her beauty and unique style have earned her several endorsements from big brands such as L’oreal Paris and Pantene.
In addition to her acting, singing and modelling accomplishments, Maite Perroni is an active advocate for social causes. She supports the help organization Corazón de Vida which works to improve the lives of orphaned children in Baja California Sur, Mexico. She was appointed by UNICEF Mexico as a member of their National Ambassadors Council in 2011 for her involvement with charities aimed at helping children in need.
