Los Angeles, CA – Seraph Films, in association with Impulsive Films, is thrilled to unveil an exclusive first look at the key art for their upcoming film ALONE TIME, starring Rhashan Stone.
Rhashan Stone is a critically acclaimed actor known for his captivating performances on both stage and screen. With a career spanning over two decades, Rhashan has established himself as one of the UK’s leading actors, receiving numerous accolades and nominations for his work.
ALONE TIME follows the story of award-winning novelist Colin May (Stone), who recently purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills. The house was everything he dreamed of and more, even coming with a 1960’s era bomb shelter beneath the garden, which he planned to convert into a private wine vault. Things didn’t go as planned.
Working on his latest book, loosely based on the disappearance of his famous artist father, Colin becomes incapable of separating fact from fiction, and within weeks of moving into the new house, he begins to hear voices and see images, often waking up to a distant deep calling from somewhere on the property.
Colin’s novel, recognized by his editor as a “masterpiece,” grows in its intensity as his imagination and terror wreak havoc on his fragile grasp on reality. All those around him – his nephew, his agent, and his husband – try desperately to help Colin return to reality, but the calling, the voices from the bomb shelter, keep growing louder, louder, louder.
As Colin battles the demons in his head, he finishes the final chapter of the book with a climactic and terrifying meeting with an old acquaintance in the bomb shelter.
Directed by Gene Blalock, the film promises to be a powerful exploration of loss and self-discovery. Blalock says of the film, “ALONE TIME is a deeply intimate film that I am proud to have been a part of. Rhashan’s performance is nothing short of mesmerizing, and I cannot wait for audiences to experience this film.”
The film was written and produced by Paul Coates, who adds, “ALONE TIME is a story that speaks to the human condition, and I am honored to have been able to bring it to life. Working with Rhashan and Gene has been an incredible journey, and I am so grateful that we were able to bring this story to fruition.”
Just recently, ALONE TIME had a private screening in London amid rave reviews. The film is now gearing up for a festival run and will surely stand out on the circuit. ALONE TIME is a film that will stay with you long after the credits roll.
