The Zone of Interest is a British movie directed by Jonathan Glazer, starring Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller.
Based on the novel by Martin Amis.
At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, “The Zone of Interest” is the movie that everyone is talking about. Before this film, director Jonathan Glazer had only produced three full-length films: the slasher movie “Sexy Beast” from 2000, the divisive psychological drama “Birth,” and the eerie science fiction film “Under the Skin.”
Storyline
The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, strive to build a dream life for their family in a house and garden next to the camp.
