Premise

The Accident Man is back, and this time he must best the top assassins in the world to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure.

Movie Review

It is a hybrid between a good old 80’s movie and a stupendous blockbuster. It has action as if there were no tomorrow, and a lead character who does not mind giving it his all acting a bit foolish in what seems to be a movie constructed like a video game.

Is it entertaining? Very much so. Is it silly? No doubt, but we all want to evade reality every once in a while, and ingest a “milkshake of round kicks and punches” despite the ridiculously high calorie value. ‘Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday’ is an action movie that relies on the simplest of formulas in the genre, and which ultimately becomes its virtue. It does not intend to be a James Bond movie, nor a Tarantino. This is good old action that entertains with no greater philosophical intent behind.

It is violent, true…. Gratuitously, so, and perhaps Scott Atkins is not up to the task of reciting Shakespearean sonnets, but he certainly is the best for the role he has taken on in Accident Man.

Our Opinion

A wonderfully silly movie that manages to entertain.
