About the Documentary
An understated production, all filmed in black and white, we are witnesses to the conversation between Jonah Hill and his therapist. There is no doubt that Jonah Hill’s intentions are noble, in wanting to share what has helped him in determining his life course, and at the same time honor Dr. Stutz who gave him the tools to do so. They discuss the “life force”, the importance of exercising and eating properly; relationships to other people; and one’s relationship with oneself. It then takes a turn, and becomes an interview with Phil Stutz, who shares his life experiences. Hill then redirects the conversation to further explain the concepts and tools.
An intimate and well intentioned documentary, that follows a pleasant pace. If it will be a hit on the streaming platform is impossible to foresee, but it will definitely have a viewership.
