We Have a Ghost is a comedy movie written and directed by Christopher Landon starring David Harbour, Jahi Di’Allo Winston and Anthony Mackie.

A movie with ghosts, familiar, full of clichés… Let´s go, so what were you expecting with kind of a plot? A good Hollywood product with good actors and professional directing in a movie that conjures the usual formulas, which work and thanks to the precision of millions of miles of cellulloid… knows how to press the right buttons in the viewer.
Storyline
A family moves into a very large house with a suspicious low price. They are not alone, evidently and soon the ghost starts doing its tricks.
Review of the Movie
Here they know how to laugh at the ridiculous situateion and which, after a thousand movies about haunted houses, this isn´t exactly scary. The movie makes good use of the time it has to give us a couple of lessons about good citizenship and other things, but here they know how to uphold the comical tone above the lecturing tone.
The weight of the plot and interpretation curiously are shouldered by Jahi Di’Allo Winston, a promising actor that knows how to carry the “dramatic” part of the movie that isn´t very heavy. We also have David Harbour as the ghost and Anthony Mackie in one of those roles that does not allow much in acting requirements.
If you see the trailer, this fools one a little, the movie is slower and cared for on a cinematographic level than it appears to be, there are good shots, very good editing and the story is well paced to tell something that the audience can judge whether it is worth it or not.
This is like many others, entertaining and without much of a plot in a product that is perfect for a Friday evening family movie outing.
Not everything in life needs to be Neo-realism.
To be enjoyed, preferrably as a family entertainement.
An idiotic movie? This is one of those idiotic movies we all enjoyed when we were little and, without harming anyone, are beloved films in the frenetic search of traditional movies.
Our Opinion
Here they have known how to strike a balance between family viewing and comedy. This is one of those movies you forget about as of the moment it starts, and which, without expecting anything from it, gives us all precisely what we were expecting.
