The husband’s life as a famous singer quickly becomes a hindrance. The wife’s hopes and doubts about motherhood, their shared interests. . a journey that sets the stage for a relationship crisis that both of them must face, isolated and burdened by a tragedy that is yet to come.
This film explores conflicting emotions, relies heavily on the performances of its lead actors, Alessandra de Rossi and JM de Guzman, who deliver commendable performances in a movie that, from a cinematic standpoint, only allows us to see them and their talent.
Stylistically, the film offers very little, providing little substance to engage with in one of those unfortunate movies that simply fill Netflix’s catalog.
It is a relaxed and contemplative film, subtle and at times naive, that promises a true tragedy of emotions but ultimately falls short in providing the realistic vision it aims for and fails to achieve.
