Dianna Elise Agron, born on April 30, 1986, is an American actress and singer. She first became known for her dancing and small musical theater roles in her youth. In 2006, she made her screen debut, and the following year she played a recurring character, Debbie Marshall, in the popular show Heroes. Agron then went on to star as head cheerleader Quinn Fabray in the Fox series Glee, for which she received a SAG Award, and was nominated for a Brit Award for Best International Breakthrough Act. Following the success of Glee, Agron began acting in films, starting with I Am Number Four (2011) and then taking on roles in films such as The Family (2013) and Bare (2015). Additionally, Agron has directed several short films and music videos, and she has been performing as a singer at the Café Carlyle in New York City since 2017. She has also acted and directed a segment of the 2019 anthology film Berlin, I Love You. Her singing voice is noted for its husky lyric contralto sound.
