Born Jake Joseph Paul born January 17, 1997 in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul has become over the past decade a big deal on social media. He has an astounding 20 million subscribers on YouTube and 15 million followers on Instagram. His YouTube channel is filled with all sorts of content, which include pranks, challenges, and music videos. He has even been in movies and TV shows like “Bizaardvark”

But that it does not stop there. In 2018, Paul decided to try his hand at boxing. His most famous fight was against Nate Robinson, a former NBA player. It was a pay-per-view event that a million people paid to watch.

Now, it should be mentioned that Paul has had his fair share of controversies. In 2020, he got arrested for trespassing and causing trouble during a riot in Arizona. He and his friends even filmed themselves looting a mall, which didn’t go down well. This is only one of a number of controversies he has been in the center of.

Just recently, in 2021, Paul started a boxing promotion company called Most Valuable Promotions (MVP). He’s already signed some big-name boxers like himself, Amanda Serrano, and Tommy Fury.

It has to be said that Paul is a polarizing figure. People either love him or hate him. But one thing is certain, he is one of the most influential people in the United States right now. Being the master at promoting himself that he is and knowing how to make headlines for himself. So, whether you are a fan or not, one cannot ignore the impact he is making.
