Alicia Silverstone is an American actress, author, and businesswoman. She is known for her roles in the films Clueless (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), and Blast from the Past (1999). She has also starred in the television series The Baby-Sitters Club (2020–present) and American Woman (2018).

Silverstone was born in San Francisco, California, in 1976. She began her acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in commercials and television shows. She made her film debut in the 1993 thriller The Crush.

Silverstone’s breakthrough role came in 1995, when she starred in the teen comedy Clueless. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Silverstone was praised for her performance. She followed up Clueless with the films Batman & Robin and Blast from the Past.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Silverstone starred in a number of films, including Excess Baggage (1997), Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), and Vamps (2012). She also had a recurring role on the television series Miss Match (2003–2004).

In recent years, Silverstone has focused on her family and her business interests. She is the author of the book The Kind Diet (2009), and she is the founder of the non-profit organization The Kind Life Foundation. She has also appeared in a number of independent films, including The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) and The Tribes of Palos Verdes (2017).

Silverstone is a vegan and an advocate for animal rights. She is also a vocal critic of the beauty industry. She is known for her unconventional beauty standards and her commitment to living a healthy lifestyle.
