About the Movie

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a comedy that parodies Indian cinema and the Bollywood tradition. It’s a blend of action, romance, and music with an 80s soap opera-style cinematography. The movie successfully delivers entertainment and fun without any hesitation or fear of being ridiculous.

The film’s success lies in its conscious absurdity, with slow-motion shots, vintage soap-opera-like photography, and Salman Khan’s superhero character, who mocks himself for the hundred or so roles he’s played before this one. Although the film lacks a gripping story, some sequences and the brothers’ performances are amusing enough to make you laugh.

It’s a parody of other Bollywood movies within a movie that has its plot and identity. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s charming enough to watch for half an hour or so.
