Plot
Miss Shetty returns to India and decides to get pregnant. After rejecting donors, she meets Polishetty, a guy who wants to be a stand-up comedian like Seinfeld.

The movie plays with the theme of a girl with European customs who, upon returning to her native India, experiences a cultural clash. Her partner goes through something similar: he is in India but wants to open up to the world.
Do they expect love to blossom? Romantic comedies bring surprises, just enough to keep us engaged. “Miss. Shetty Mr. Polishetty” may not be the most surprising or original, but it has its charming moments. The film gives us the opportunity to explore another type of successful cinema and reminds us that, no matter how far apart and different the languages, romantic comedies can be universal. This genre is as old as cinema itself, literature, or even (daring to say) cave paintings.

Anushka Shetty is an actress from India who primarily works in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She made her debut in the Telugu film “Super” in 2005 and gained popularity after her performance in “Vikramarkudu” in 2006. She went on to star in several big-budget films alongside top Telugu actors and became one of the leading actresses in Telugu cinema in the following years. Her portrayal of the main character in “Arundhati” and as Saroja in “Vedam” received high critical acclaim, earning her two Filmfare Awards, one Nandi Award, and two CineMAA Awards.
