(DECEMBER 1, 2023) Today, chart-topping singer/songwriter and Emmy-award winning actress Dove Cameron released the first volume of her highly anticipated two part debut album, Alchemical: Volume 1 via Disruptor Records/Columbia Records. This follows the exciting release of the music video for the album’s single “Sand” which premiered earlier this week and provided a beautiful cinematic visual to the haunting ballad. Embracing the essence of alchemy, the album represents Dove’s powerful and transformative journey of taking tragedy and turning it into art all while reinforcing music’s ability to inspire, empower and heal. In celebration of the release, Dove will be performing next week at two special pop-ups. The first will be in NYC on Dec. 4th at the Sultan Room and the second in LA on Dec. 6th at Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. More info about the shows HERE.
About the album, Dove shares, “Alchemical: Volume 1 is a report from the void of my own personal experience with love, sex, loss, trauma, darkness and eventually transformation and healing. I hope you hear yourself and we can meet in these moments in time together.”
Other notable songs off the album include, “Lethal Woman,” as well as “Breakfast” and her smash hit song “Boyfriend”, which is certified platinum and sat at an impressive #2 on Billboard’s U.S. Top 40 Pop Chart and was in the top 20 of the Hot 100 Chart. The song’s music video has garnered over 67 million views on YouTube.
