Paul McCartney kept a tape of John Lennon songs, all of which had been released except one.

More than fifty years after the Liverpool group split up and, thanks to an Artificial Intelligence, we will be able to hear the voice of the late John Lennon again.

According to Paul McCartney, in an interview with the BBC, it has been hard work, as Lennon’s voice was barely audible on the tape. But the effort has paid off.

It seems that it was ex-Beatles Georges Harrison who initially refused to allow these songs to be released, but now that he has passed away, McCartney is going to put the finishing touch to the great group with this song.

Now and Then is the title of this Lennon composition that remained stored on a cassette until his widow, Yoko Ono, found it and saw that it said “For Paul”. Apparently, the song was composed in 1978, with only a piano and Lennon’s voice.

According to McCartney the task has been difficult and complicated, but with good results. We will wait to see, perhaps, another great masterpiece of the late and admired Lennon.
