(August 18, 2023) – Off the heels of his latest single “God’s Eyes,” which reached #1 on the iTunes Christian chart in the US, Platinum-certified Nigerian-Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter Dax has released his new EP What is life? . Accompanying the project is an official video for opening track “The Abyss” – here is the Logan Meis-directed visual.
What is life? bends genres and pushes boundaries as Dax continues to make a name for himself in the music industry by creating topic-driven music that sparks conversation. The 7-track project features four new songs as well as previously released singles “God’s Eyes,” “To Be A Man,” and “Dear Alcohol,” which is officially certified Platinum by the RIAA marking Dax’s first track to sell more than one million copies in the US. In speaking about the EP, Dax says: “What is life? It’s a question. I’ve been asking myself for two years now, these songs answer that.”
Following Canadian tour dates in September, Dax will bring his energetic live show to the US with opener Phix, who was featured on the “To Be A Man” Mega Remix. The 14-date run kicks off in Iowa on October 6 and includes stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, Louisville, and more before concluding in Denver on October 26.
