About the Series

This series is brought to us from Peru, and chronicles a case that took center stage in the Peruvian media, and invites us to see the meanderings behind the scene of a plot. If you do not like soccer, it is most likely not something that you will enjoy. ‘The Fight for Justice: Paolo Guerrero’ does have some amusing moments in its description of the soccer world and of what the famous soccer player was surrounded by, but also the moments portraying the difficulties the soccer star went through.

It recounts the story of Guerrero who had become a national hero, who scored a decisive goal playing against Colombia, and was later on in his professional trajectory sanctioned by the FIFA, which resulted in in the question if he would play or not at the World Cup in 2018.
