Girls5eva  is a series starring Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, Paula Pell, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Daniel Breaker and Erika Henningsen.

A series produced by Tina Fey features four lovely girls trying to resurrect their faltering music career. ‘Girls5eva’ is a group of girls resembling the likes of Spice Girls, Generation Girls, or T-ara. Now in their prime, they are attempting to reclaim their past glories… whether successful or not.

Their career remains a comical disaster in this third season, performing in secondary cities while on tour and making one blunder after another. One, with her girlfriends; another, with business delusions; a third one trying to feign responsibility; and a fourth, who fails to quit alcohol, nor wants to.

This third season is just like the first two, offering humor for humor’s sake and absolute absurdity with four girls who, mind you, have lots of follies to share and who are incredibly entertaining and endearing despite their imperfections.

About the series

‘Girls5eva’ kicks off its third season with an SNL (Saturday Night Live) type humor that is largely parodic, clever, and filled with short sketches, with a big chunk of sit-com style humor. The type of humor that allows you to sit back, relax, and turn off your brain. These four women are such a mess that you won’t be able to stop laughing, or at least, cracking a smile.

As a series, it’s not “Game of Thrones” nor does it have any artistic pretenses. It’s a parody of the countless girl bands that have emerged in music history, succeeding like a fizzy drink, only to disappear without leaving a trace.

The group in the series, however, stubbornly refuses to disappear despite their elusive success. So sit back, relax and forget about your brain, because you won’t need it. We absolutely love this group!
