A luxurious Korean series that immediately catches attention with its visual appeal: from the very first sequence, it is evident that this is a show with a high budget, strong visual intentions, and a desire to captivate the audience, taking the Korean entertainment industry to new heights.

It is worth watching for its set design and historical reconstruction alone.

Carefully designed sets, elaborately detailed photography, and excellent editing, sound, and framing. A technically marvelous series that confirms the obvious: South Korea is a powerhouse in the world of cinema.

You may like monster stories more or less, find it too sentimental at times, or have varying degrees of interest in adventure stories or historical reconstructions, but “Gyeongseong Creature” has the great virtue of being at a high level in terms of production and cinematographic craftsmanship.

“Gyeongseong Creature” is a 10-hour spectacle that not only tells a thrilling adventure story with action scenes, chases, and even a monster, but also recreates a historical period with exquisite aesthetic and narrative value (all within the realm of cinema). It is a series filled with captivating stories and diverse characters intertwined in a conflict.

Behind it all is a 2017 company that started with successes like the Korean version of The Good Wife and now, with the support of Netflix, brings us this grand production that blends epic, science fiction, and adventure.

Our Opinion:

Highly entertaining, it masterfully maintains its rhythm and, above all, stands out for its intricate production, making it one of the top series of the year on the streaming platform.
