Kohrra” is a drama series written by Gunjit Chopra, Sudip Sharma, and Diggi Sisodia. It stars Saurav Khurana and Suvinder Pal Vicky.

“Kohrra” is an Indian series that takes us into the investigation of a murder, amidst the mist, with a foreigner as the protagonist, and behind it all, a whole drama to unravel.

About the Series

“Kohrra” is a classic crime investigation series where two police officers have to solve a mystery. Nothing new? Apparently not, but the series takes us through a cold, dry, and harsh treatment, just like the mist itself that leads us to discover the corpse.

There is hardly any music (except near the end) in a series that is all about apparent drama and hides many family mysteries behind the mist.
It follows a slow pace that almost distances itself from a Hollywood-style treatment. It takes its time in each scene, which seems to unfold in real-time and play with the concept of stagnant time, just like the mystery itself.

Interesting? “Kohrra” is not a series for everyone, nor does it want to be. It is a social and character analysis that is challenging to get into and will distance many viewers due to its pace and appearance, with minimal concessions. It doesn’t play into drama when it seemingly should and remains consistent with its approach, in that mist that envelops the characters and their personal mysteries and ghosts.

Plot

When a man is found dead days before his wedding in the Punjab countryside, two policemen must unravel the disturbing case as turbulence in their own lives unravels.
