You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment is a documentary series on Netflix.

A nutrition expert presents an experiment to 21 pairs of identical twins: the same food for both, supplied by them, then cooked by the twins themselves, followed by separating them and confronting two diets, omnivorous versus vegan.

8 weeks of scientific analysis that will change eating habits. What are the results?

About the Documentary

Did you know why Americans started consuming processed proteins? Did you know that cheese is addictive? Do you know the difference between body fat and visceral fat? What is the microbiome? Did you know that only 3% of Alzheimer’s patients have the disease linked to genetic patterns? “You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment” is an incredibly entertaining documentary where you will learn a lot, a whole lot about nutrition and taking care of yourself to live longer, have a healthier life, and most importantly, be happier.

“You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment” is a well-executed documentary and, above all, with a positive vibe because it is a documentary full of friendly people, jokes that, among scientific tests, encourage us to lead a healthier and more wholesome life. It’s not a horror documentary that leads us to the dangers of drinking milk (which apparently it has, and many), but a joyful documentary that tells us how happy we will be if, with small changes in our diet, we can have a better life.

Furthermore, this documentary goes beyond by addressing a powerful topic such as the environment and deforestation, and how it has impacted the field of nutrition. We will witness the ecological disaster caused by the food industry in the oceans and the devastating effects this natural imbalance has on us.

Is it a documentary that we shouldn’t miss? Honestly, I’m not a lover of diets or nutrition, but “You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment” provides so many valuable pieces of information that it makes you want to permanently change your diet.

Our Opinion

Educates, entertains, and delights. A documentary that will bring health into your life.
