Hunters is a series created by David Weil starring Al Pacino, Logan Lerman and Saul Rubinek among others.

By Jordan Peele as executive producer, Hunters is in its second season with Al Pacino as maximum attraction of this series about nazi hunters which is appealing because of its aesthetics that are comic strip or “Seventies” look which will not go by unnoticed.

It is not by chance that this is a series with an unmistakeable Peele look, maximum exponent of the “new horror film”. Doubtlessly, this makes it special as well as the very unique way in which absurd is combined with a a series plot that at the same time is a very deep denouncement in social issues.

A very different, entertaining, funny, aesthetic and theatrical series that has a truly spectacular end of season in store for us. Not to be missed.

Two years after a failed mission scattered The Hunters, Jonah is living a double life in Paris with his fiancée, Clara. Soon, he discovers the most notorious Nazi in history may still be alive. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Millie Morris prosecutes a dangerous war criminal. And years before the founding of The Hunters, Meyer Offerman encounters a dangerous threat that could expose his true identity.

Jonah convinces Millie to join him on the hunt for Hitler and the duo brings The Hunters back together for one last mission – their most important hunt of all. After The Hunters land in South America, they are soon imperiled by a dangerous foe. In the beginning, a plague crossed over the House of Heidelbaum. Its youngest, Jonah, was plunged into the belly of the whale; but was culled from the darkness by the shepherd Meyer Offerman. Somewhere across the ancient land of Manhattan, Millie Morris, a guardian of the law, whose faith hath been tested, trekked South upon the death of an elderly woman.

The Mourner’s Kaddish

After discovering a clue about a murderous foe, Jonah travels to a wondrous land to locate a great evil and avenge his family. But his search lands Jonah in mortal peril that only the great shepherd Meyer Offerman can rescue him from. Meanwhile, down in the land of Florida, Millie Morris discovers that evil has many faces and that her search for truth may reveal more than she bargained for.

And when Millie pursued justice, so the envoys of Evil pursued Millie. Meyer appealed to Jonah, whose faith was strained by the trials of The Hunt; and Jonah turned to his companions’ burning bush and the spectre of his grandmother for counsel. The Hunters toiled to interpret the secret words of a wicked proclamation.

The Pious Thieves

For the love of money is the root of all evil. A trail of signs did lead The Hunters unto a merchant’s lair, where unearthed remnants of the past echoed evils of the present. Millie’s compass delivered her to the House of Offerman, whereupon she encountered Jonah and put a charge unto him: “I beseech thee walk in truth!”

At Night, All Birds are Black

Meyer imparted unto Jonah a proverb, with which Jonah fortified himself. A sharp tongued serpent sought to poison The Hunters’ resolve. Evil hath taken root in the land of Alabama, whereupon The Hunters did descend to blot it out. A herald brought unto Millie grim tidings of Evil spread throughout the land.

Hark! A wedding song rang out to unite The Hunters in a time of discord. “The Hunt is not only about death,” Meyer cried unto Jonah, “It is about life!” But their mirth was tempered by an untimely strike and suspicions of a Judas among them. Seeking the origins of Evil, Millie offered up a sacrifice.

But lo! The date foretold by evil prophecy came upon them. The Hunters were tormented by wicked ghosts of times past as the day waned and Darkness prepared to strike. Millie forsakes the means of justice to hasten the path toward judgment.

And there was a thick darkness in all the land. As The Hunters wallowed in the valley of the shadow of death, they turned to the stars to point them on their path. Still, darkness trespassed up on the heart of Jonah, which did tempt him toward sin; and the shepherd Meyer petitioned Millie to join their flock.

As a terrible plague loomed over the land and did portend to devour its people, The Hunters waged a great battle to prevent it. Upon the threshold of righteousness, Millie endured a loathsome betrayal and sought to deliver Jonah from vengeance and corruption.
