One Piece Film Red is the fifteenth installment in the One Piece film series, adapted from the popular manga of the same name created by Eiichiro Oda. Directed by Gorō Taniguchi and produced by Toei Animation, the movie premiered in Japan on August 6, 2022, and subsequently became available in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand later in the same year.
The story revolves around the Straw Hat Pirates, who find themselves attending a mesmerizing music festival where they encounter Uta, a renowned singer with an ethereal voice. As the festival progresses, it is revealed that Uta is none other than the daughter of Shanks, one of the formidable Four Emperors of the Sea. Her presence at the event attracts significant attention, including that of dangerous pirates.
The film features an exceptional voice cast, including Mayumi Tanaka, Kazuya Nakai, Usopp, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, and Sanji, along with the introduction of captivating new characters like Uta, Shanks, and Gordon. The musical score for the movie was composed by the talented Yasutaka Nakata.
