Şükrü Özyıldız, a Turkish actor, was born on February 18, 1988. He is well-known for his performances in the series Benim Hala Umudum Var, Şeref Meselesi, and Kış Güneşi.

Özyıldız was born in İzmir, Turkey. His maternal family, of Rûm descent, migrated from Rhodes during the Ottoman Empire. His father is of Turkish descent from Trabzon. After completing his studies in Ship Mechanics Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and spending a year in Istanbul, he continued his education at Ege University. As part of the Erasmus program, he also spent time in Portugal. Özyıldız has had a passion for martial arts since he was young and even participated in cage fights in Portugal. However, after attending an acting workshop, he discovered his love for acting and decided to pursue it further by studying at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

In 2011, Özyıldız made his debut in the series Derin Sular. He portrayed the character Efe and also played the twin of the character named “Mete” in Kış Güneşi, alongside Aslı Enver. He also appeared in Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, an adaptation of Pretty Little Liars. Since then, he has starred in various notable films and television productions in Turkey, including Çoban Yıldızı, Şeref Meselesi, and Benim Hala Umudum Var. His most recent television role was in the series Akıncı, which aired on the Turkish television channel ATV.
