The 80th Venice Film Festival announces competing films

The opening, on August 30th, of the 80th Venice Film Festival (within La Biennale di Venezia,directed by Alberto Barbera) will be hosted by actress Caterina Murino. This being one of the world’s most important festivals in the film industry, there are guaranteed movies of excellence competing for the Golden Lion. Here is the list of the contenders:
